Dr. Joshua Ologe in 2001, initiated what is today known as Christian Youth Forum Ministry (CYF). His passion for this work was born many years ago but he did little or nothing till the Holy Spirit propelled him and arranged many circumstances to confirm the calling. So he decided to get started with an annual camp meeting (Christian Youth Forum) which has kept growing since it started. The Ministry was Incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria, on July 11, 2006 as Christian Youth Forum Ministry. It has a constitution, and appointed members of the Board of Trustees. The National Co-ordinator is supported by a Planning Committee for the formulation of operational strategies.

The Ministry now reach youths through Annual Camp meetings; the internet www.christianyouthforum.org); Audio messages on tapes and CDs; newsletters; magazines; Operation of a secondary school; and about starting a Christian Youth Training Institute.

In 2001, a few brethren spare headed by Dr. Joshua Ologe and family, organized a Forum captioned Christian Youth Forum (CYF) which featured series of lectures and a variety of other programs for Youths between age group of about 13-40 years. The program held December 26-29 subsequently. Participants came from different parts of Nigeria but the calling is global and therefore, other nationals are both highly desirable and most welcomed. The feedback from those that attended previous meetings and the peace of God in our heart continue to be a source of encouragement to us the challenges notwithstanding. The calling seeks to meet the needs of this age group both spiritually and physically. Since inception, the forum has held with participants ranging from about 100-250 each year.

The annual camp meetings feature principally empowerment issues covering: The Christian Faith with emphasis on our Eternity; Health; Family and relationships; Career Development and employment opportunities. Individuals who are specialists in their own rights in these fields are invited as speakers at the meetings. There are links tagged categories on the Ministry’s website: www.christianyouthforum.org that have relevant materials dealing with the various empowerment needs of: family, career, health, and spiritual matters under Hour of Grace. A Quote of the week is regularly posted for continuous spiritual help.

Consequently, Christian lecturers from different background and disciplines are invited yearly to speak on relevant subject matters including Spiritual, Heath, Career, and Family. Presently, a few of us as brethren, work together to plan, pray, and provide logistical supports as the Lord enables. We are trusting God to raise other brothers and sisters that will team up with us to respond to this call of our Lord and master Jesus Christ. We are equally trusting God for further direction and provision. The annual camp meeting holds annually in Iyah-Gbedde, Ijumu LGA, of Kogi State in the middle belt of Nigeria, a community of about 15 minutes drives to Kabba town, for those traveling from Ilorin end of the Ilorin-Lokoja road. For those approaching the community from Kabba towards Ilorin, it is equally about 15 minutes drive from Kabba.

Participants attending the annual camp meetings pay for their travel costs. Feeding and lodging are however provided free to the participants for the period. Participants are encouraged to make free- will offerings towards the program at the registration desk and or during the program activities as they are able.

In September 2012, the Ministry went into partnership to start a secondary school –Rehoboth Faith Academy, to further strengthen the strategies of reaching out more effectively, the lower age category of the target group of 13-40 years

The Vision of the School is embodied in the goal of the ministry and is defined as: Prayerfully raising a model of children of secondary school age that will be a generational national pride in academic excellence, Godly Christian character and entrepreneurship.
